About Teacher Certification

In the media, the idea of pole dancing has become more and more identified with being a form of fitness and not just for exotic dancers anymore. The practice of Felinity is much more than that. Felinity literally means “catlike” or "to move like a cat" and its ultimate goal is to encourage women to discover their individual natural movement and exercise their femininity with pure consciousness.  The Felinity workout fits in with the new wave fitness - mind / body fitness and fitness through movement.

If you are interested in pursuing a teaching career with Felinity Inc, we offer four types of certification classes:

Students who undertake these training programs learn to teach from the ground up, learning through a natural sequence of our module based certification programs. 

We also offer an Ambassadors Program{add anchor link to section of the page] for those interested in teaching Felinity independently. 

 

FELINITY™ Instructor Certification

These three courses are the foundation for teaching the original Felinity workout program.  In order to be licensed for pole or our specialty classes, you must begin with the Felinity Instructor Certification. 

• Course #1 – Felinity Instructor Certification- Foundation (FIC-F)
• Course #2 – Felinity Instructor Certification - Core (FIC-C)
• Course #3 – Felinity Instructor Certification - Advanced (FIC-A)

Do I need experience? While we encourage women who have fitness or dance background, we welcome all women who have passion and a positive outlook to apply for the foundational course.

How do I enroll? Read about the different course and course dates, and then fill out an application [link to “Application Form”].  We will invite you to join us for a class and schedule a one-on-one meeting with Alyson Joy.   

Do I have to take all of the courses?  It is mandatory that all teachers become certified and continue through the modules of the Felinity Certification process. 

What happens after I've completed each course?  Once you graduate from each course, you will receive a diploma along with a brief explanation of what Felinity is and what you learned and completed in the course.  You will then be Felinity Instructor Certified, and Licensed - specializing in core feminine movement & pole work.  (FIC-F, FIC-C, FIC-A)

Will I be offered a job after I've become certified?  Upon receiving Felinity Instructor certification, you will be a designated specialist in core feminine movement / pole.  This credential will not automatically grant you employment under Felinity Inc.  However, Felinity is looking to grow and hire on a consistent basis. 

Pole Fitness Instructor Certification

These three courses will help you become certified to facilitate Pole Fitness with the Felinity Team.

• Pole Fitness Instructor A - (PFI-A)
• Pole Fitness Instructor B - (PFI-B)
• Pole Fitness Instructor C - (PFI -C)

• Credits towards continuing education: 2 (4 credits completes a continuing education course)

• Teaseology (Striptease) - Get certified to facilitate the Art of Striptease

• Pre-requisite: 1 of the following: Core feminine movement component of Foundation, or Foundation.
• Credits towards continuing education: 2 (4 credits completes a continuing education course)

FELINITY™ Ambassadors Program

The Felinity Ambassadors Program involves acquiring a license agreement to teach the syllabus independently.  In order to go forward with the Felinity Ambassadors Program, you must be prepared to pre-register for course #2 – CORE (within a reasonable time frame) and it is recommended to have the intention of eventually becoming a Felinity Master with the completion of course #3 plus any add-on courses.

TRADEMARK

The entire FELINITY™ Syllabus - Core feminine movement (mat work, bodywork) and pole work has been registered and trademarked under Felinity Inc.  Unless you are hired under Felinity Inc. or have a licensing agreement to use the syllabus under Felinity Inc., you are prohibited to take the FELINITY™ syllabus (core feminine movement & pole work fundamentals, terms, language, philosophy) from the FELINITY™ Instructors Certification course elsewhere and teach it.
